Despite being welcomed, the endless kindness and patience offered by his Father, Orion couldn't help but still feel a little mismatched. Out of his own time, out of his element with all these do-gooders - where such kindness seem to come natural. That was without the additional irritation of Nate was making it all too clear he expected him to slip up, give him reason to ensure he wouldn't be able to stay here any longer. So there came some distant sense of relief at learning of Magneto during his research of those living within the mansion. Former villain, reviled by many, now not just tolerated but rather, at home here. Admittedly quietly following the man around likely wasn't the best way to learn from him, he COULD very well approach, strike up a conversation but that required social skills and comfort that he'd just not mustered up yet.
So there he is, lurking near a doorway while Magnus is talking to Wanda - his daughter, if files are correct. It's not the first time he's stood and observed, this has been happening for little over a week now, the boy hesitating in doorways when Magnus is engaging with others. Watching. Curious.
